Early Childhood Music Group Lessons
This program is especially for 2 to 3-year-old children. The curriculum combines the two major education philosophies of Montessori early childhood and Dalcroze Eurhythmics. The child-centered and parents-supported early childhood music group lessons provide young children with a creative and interactive environment with repertoire exposure based on nursery rhymes and folk songs in North American and Asian cultures. Children can understand elements of music, such as rhythm, beat, pitch, dynamics, and harmony, through their experience and exploration of music.

What is Dalcroze?
Dalcroze Eurhythmics is to teach and learn music that combines movement, ear training, and improvisation. It was developed by Swiss composer and music educator Émile Jaques-Dalcroze in the late 19th century. Dalcroze recognized early on the significant connection between physical movement and brain development, believing that the body is the human's first instrument for learning music. That's why he created interactive and playful methods that promote both musical and cognitive growth. His method is suitable for all ages and skill levels, from young beginners to professional musicians, and its principles can be applied to other performing arts like dance and drama.
What is Montessori?
Montessori is an educational philosophy and method developed by Italian physician and educator Dr. Maria Montessori in the early 20th century. It emphasizes child-centered and hands-on learning activities. Montessori believes that children are naturally curious and capable of directing their learning when provided with a supportive and prepared environment. Montessori education can be applied from early childhood through elementary and sometimes secondary education. Its principles aim to help children become independent, self-motivated learners who are equipped with the skills to navigate both academic and real-world challenges.
